Asa plays ball

So I am playing catch up. This video is from last September. This was the first time that Asa played ball. He had just figured how to throw the ball and had a really fun time playing this new little game.

A Comparison

Okay I know, I know. I'm not supposed to compare my boys against each other. I'm not actually comparing them though. I'm sharing video that I have of the two of them doing similar things at around the same age frame. The first video is of Asa taken on June 2, 2007 at seven months of age. The second video is of Eli taken on June 26, 2008 at seven and a half months of age. They each have their own style of doing things. But they are still both so cute.

You tube down

Well I thought I would post some videos but you tube is down at the moment. Maybe I'll get this done tomorrow.

Finally

Here is the video that I have been trying to upload for the past few days. Back a few weeks ago on Sunday after Hillbilly Christmas, I let Bailey use my camera to record video. I laugh every time I watch the video because well just watch it and you will understand. It is pretty cute. Chris even has a cameo. I tried to link the video to the title but have been unsucessful in locating the URL info. Youtube has altered their layout slightly so I am not finding it at the moment. I am tired but will look again later.

Should have some new images up soon

I know it has been a week since I posted last. We have not really done anything and youtube is not cooperating with me trying to upload video. Hopefully I will have this all worked out in the next day or so.

Not much going on here

We haven't really done much this past week. Just kind of chilled out at home. We didn't even get to go see fireworks this year. The display we wanted to go to was on Thursday night and with Chris having to work we didn't think we would be back in time for that. Then Friday we realized we really didn't have the extra to spend on gas to go anywhere so we watched the local networks broadcast of a few area displays. It was good because Eli was able to go to bed like normal and Asa got to watch with mom and dad. Although when someone in the neighborhood let off some that were really loud, he did not like those and he came running over to me. Anyway, I was able to take some pictures of Asa and daddy playing with the blocks. They both enjoyed the process of stacking them up and then knocking them over. Hopefully I'll have the video put up either tonight or tomorrow.

When everything was said and done Asa laid down next to Eli and read him a book. I have a really advanced child. (Big grin and chuckling heard in the background.)

Updated Pictures of Eli

Okay so I realized that I haven't really posted any pictures of just Eli lately, so I thought I would take the opportunity now.

Here we have Eli in his first big boy bath. He actually liked getting a bath instead of the fussing that he did before we took him out of the baby seat that we used for baths in the kitchen sink.

Play time with daddy. One of the few opportunities when Asa is asleep and daddy is awake, and full attention can be doted on Eli.

Eli sporting his cool dude sun glasses.

I think these are among my favorite pictures that I have of Eli to date. I love the look on his face where he is looking into papa Tony's sunglasses. And then the image of the two of them with their glasses on the same way. So wonderfully adorable.

Feeding the fish at Stepping Stone Falls

The ducks that were out as we got out of the car.

Asa thought they were pretty neat.

Heading up the trail back to the falls.

Looking at the falls. This picture of Asa is one of my favorites.

Feeding the fish. I gave Asa a piece of bread to throw down to the fish and instead of throwing it down, he instantly shoved it into his mouth. Guess he thought it was a snack for himself.

A couple of views of the falls farther up the trail.

A family of ducks swimming by.

A seagull flying overhead.

The sky to the east and then to the west as we were getting ready to head home.
