Brotherly Love - part 2

Asa is such a loving brother, when the boys are sitting in their carseats, he will reach over and grab Eli's hand. Oh how this simple act can just make a mother's heart melt. This was taken just before we were leaving to head home. We had stopped to get gas and coffee for the ride home, if you look you can see the gas pumps through the car window.

The Tridge - Midland Trip

We got out of the car and all strapped in and Eli got so excited. He was squealing with sheer delight and loved every minute of our brief walk in the freezing cold but oh was it so nice to just be outside.

Asa loved looking at the water.

The trail is covered with ice and snow, not that we were really planning to walk much further due to the wind. This is just the other side of the tridge.

Getting ready to head back over the tridge to the car.

Chris had fun running ahead of me and Trisha. (I didn't get a single picture of her that weekend.) I love that you can see the size of the tridge and its three extensions.

Another view of the tridge. It is a little blown out because I was facing the sun but it is still beautiful and if you click on the image to enlarge it you can see more details. The tridge spans where the Tittabawasee and Chippewa Rivers merge. I really do love this area of the state.

We're Back

The above images are from our trip to Midland to have our taxes done. It has been a while since we went but I have been without internet for the past little bit and on top of that have been dealing with the sickies. Both boys had a stomach bug back a few weeks ago, we were finally starting to see the end of that and doing so much better when we became sick again. This time Asa has a throat infection and Eli has an ear infection. While they are fussy and a bit whiny at times, I am very thankful to not be dealing with the throw up of a few weeks ago. This post and the next two posts will be from this trip to Midland.

Giddy Up Horsey

Asa can climb up all on his own now. Making daddy the perfect horse for riding around on.

Doing it Myself

Eli fed himself the other day. We started with tacos (yes, we have been on a taco kick lately) then he finished with some fruit. He did a pretty good job of using the spoon. So glad this carpet isn't worth worrying about. Hoping to replace it before to long if we stay here. Although a bigger place would be nice.

2 months old

Jadon here was born just before Christmas. My little nephew that when I look at him I am reminded all over again about having Asa. It is funny because I vividly remember Asa being this size but I have a hard time remembering Eli at this size.

Just for comparison sake here are images of Asa and Eli when they were around two months old.

Brayden's 3rd B-day Celebration - Cake

Brayden's 3rd B-day Celebration - Presents

These next two posts are about Brayden's birthday party. He is eight months older than Asa and he is my cousin's little boy.

What kind of mom would I be if I didn't include pictures of my boys. Here is Eli with a birthday hat on and my granny is holding him.

This is the best shot I got of Asa. Here he is standing in the middle of all the excitement.

The next post is about cake.

Kix Anyone?

Almost Walking

I was trying to get video of Eli walking the other day but this was all he would do.

Brotherly Love

A New Bed?

Since clearing off the bookshelves in preparation for moving, Asa has decided to climb into the shelf constantly.
