New Year's Day at the Zoo

What a great way to start the New Year. We went to the zoo with my youngest sister and her family.

They had the new snow leopard on display. The new male was as handsome as the male that had passed away.

We got to see the lioness being fed.

And we were able to see the new baby mandrill.

The tiger was being fed as well.

The meerkats are always good for a show and the pallas cay was actually visible.

Then we went into the reptile and bird house.

Then we headed to see the penguins where Jadon decided to throw in his mitten.

Peacocks always make for great photo ops.

We had a great day, even if the temperature did drop 15 degrees on the drive to the zoo.
