Snow Time Play

Asa and Eli finally got to play in the snow. This is the third snowfall we have gotten. The first was so cold that we weren't able to go out to play, the second one was during the Christmas holidays and didn't let us have time.

They decided to build a "fort" in the front yard.

A Visit to For-Mar

The other day, we had some time to kill. So we stopped by For-Mar Nature Preserve to let the boys explore and play for awhile.

Just an ordinary day

Eli was playing one minute, then the next minute he was like this. Chris took these pictures.

Then I was playing with my new camera accessory, the Light Scoop. I definitely like how it works and have actually figured out the best settings for the main uses that I use it for. Trisha was my unwilling yet obliging subject.

New Year's Day at the Zoo

What a great way to start the New Year. We went to the zoo with my youngest sister and her family.

They had the new snow leopard on display. The new male was as handsome as the male that had passed away.

We got to see the lioness being fed.

And we were able to see the new baby mandrill.

The tiger was being fed as well.

The meerkats are always good for a show and the pallas cay was actually visible.

Then we went into the reptile and bird house.

Then we headed to see the penguins where Jadon decided to throw in his mitten.

Peacocks always make for great photo ops.

We had a great day, even if the temperature did drop 15 degrees on the drive to the zoo.
