Memorial Weekend, we headed up to Frankenmuth for the Hot Air Balloon Festival.
We walked around the shops for a bit waiting for the balloons.
We made our first visit to the Popcorn Wagon. Eli picked out blue raspberry popcorn and Asa got grape popcorn. Chris and I enjoyed Parmesan garlic popcorn, YUM! We also spotted our first balloon. YAY!!!
We headed over to watch the balloons launch. The boys loved it, of course.
After watching the fiesta flyers taking off we noticed the race balloons coming in so we headed over to watch the competition. These flyers were attempting to hit a target.
I was in awe of how low this guy got. The fact that I captured an image of it even if it is slightly out of focus makes me even happier.
So much fun to watch. Next post will be the Balloon Glow from Friday night.
