Mak's Christmas Program

On December 15th, I took the boys along with Skylar and Claudia to see the Christmas Program of my cousin's little girl.  Mak is a few months older than Asa.  She was Mary in the program.  All the kids did a wonderful job and it was such a joy to watch them perform the TRUE Christmas story.

GIBC Christmas Banquet and Program

Here we all are enjoying the meal.

The kids headed upstairs first to practice real quick before the parents came upstairs.

Everyone has joined together upstairs.  We opened with a couple Christmas carols.

The kids did a great job reciting, singing, and signing.  Eli was a stinker though and did just about everything but what he was supposed to, on the plus side though he did stand in his place.

After the program, we attempted an impromptu photo of all ten of my mom's grandkids.  Ten kids all the age of ten and under make for some interesting photos.  :-)

Wednesday Night Activities

This is how we spend our Wednesday evenings throughout the school year!

Not only do they play games but half their time is spent hearing Bible Stories along with Scripture memorization!

Molly's Baptism

Here Molly is confirming her beliefs and testifying before the congregation.

She sang a solo, then there was a sermon followed by Molly's baptism.

Here is the video.

The elders of the church ended the service by praying for Molly.

VBS Night 4 - The Last Night

Lining up outside before VBS starts.

Offering Time . . . Who will win?

Uh-oh, I have a sneaking suspicion that the girls are going to win for the third night in a row.

Yuppers the girls won.

This night the pastor got the pie in the face!

Yeah the cream flew all the way to the piano behind them.

Time for the skit and to find out what happens.

The big kids playing the games.

The K4&5 at the "Trading Post!" Picking out things with the "money" they had earned each night.

Made it out for the 3rd and 4th grade kids games.

Then it was time for the message and special musical selection.

Handing out that night's prizes as well as the overall prizes.

Enjoying a snack before it's time to head home.
