The first ship that we toured on the other side of the river was The Pathfinder.
On the next ship that we toured, The Madeline, the crew was incredible. They were very interactive and very fun to be around. Below are the boys ringing the bell on the ship.
As we headed to the back of the ship, this gentleman got Sarah and the boys involved with pumping the water off of the boat. This was priceless because Sarah had originally headed over to the railing to let the boys do this. The crew member working the pump looked directly at Sarah, pointed at her and said "I want You."
And then Eli had his turn. I love that Asa went and calmly sat down over by Sarah while Eli took his turn, just another sign that Asa is growing up.
At this point there was hardly a cloud in the sky. We found a shady place to rest and tried to cool down. Asa enjoyed being up on dad's shoulders.
At this point we decided to call it a day and headed back to the car. On the way we came across the juggler on stilts. Asa thought he was really neat and even gave him a high five, then the juggler bent down to give Eli a high five and Eli was a bit shy and refused but the juggler was super nice and playful with all of us.
We headed back to the hotel and enjoyed more swimming and a late dinner. Also while swimming this evening Eli learned to keep himself a float and was starting to do a bit of swimming.
