ForMar 3-19-11 Part 1

Can't believe I went almost two weeks without taking a picture and yet again I am a month behind on my blogging. Oh well, life happens!

We kept two of my nieces, while my sister went to an activity with her church. We took the kids to For-Mar to explore and play. The weather was starting to appear nice and we take full advantage of that after being cooped up from the winter.

Puzzles are a huge hit with my boys.

Alaina loved the furs and skins available to explore and touch.

Audrianna liked examining things under the microscope and magnifying glass.

Let's see, do you think Alaina liked the feathers?

Yeah, I didn't think so either. Ha ha ha!

Asa tooked a liking to the feathers, as well.

Next post will have pictures from our walk outside.

Mixing Colors

Asa got into the decorating sugars the other day. He was pouring the yellow in with the blue because he wanted to make green.
Chris thought this was totally cool that Asa had learned this information; so, Chris got out the food coloring and experimented with different color blends.

Snow Storm 2-21-2011

Well we were hit with more snow. Most of the snow, which had previously fallen, had melted. So it is fair to say the snowfall this time was more than the snowfall of our so called Blizzard a few weeks prior. And it was definitely a heavier snow. I was amazed to not have broken tree limbs all around the yard.

We spent the better part of the morning inside playing. Although Eli wasn't feeling well. (We later found out that he had a slight ear infection after I took him to the doctor's office late in the afternoon.)

Asa went outside to play, while daddy shoveled the driveway.
Eli went outside also but was as playful and cooperative as Asa was, which we now understand why.

Brayden turned 5

The kids started the evening out playing in the basement.

Then we ate pizza and had some cake.

Then it was time for Brayden to open his presents.

Aunt Shirley was teasing Eli, pretending she was going to eat his smiles fruit snacks.

We had a nice time and enjoyed getting together with family.
