Eli isn't much of a baby anymore

My little guy is growing up. He climbed onto the picnic table all by himself. He is growing up so fast.

All Boxed In

Eli has found himself a new little playing spot. I think it might be a little small for him though.

Sporting a Brand New Shiner

Later in the evening on the same day as the car playing, Eli decided to take a dive over the arm of the couch into a pile of toys and gave himself a nice little black eye. It scared him and he has been more careful since doing this. I think he realizes now that when mom and dad tell him to sit down they know what they are talking about. I felt horrible that neither I nor Chris was able to get to him in time to stop him from going over. And of course he had to do it a few days before going to the doctor's office, so when the doctor notices it I feel bad all over again. I know it wasn't a big black eye but you feel guilty none the same.

How do you play with your cars?

The other day I looked over to see Asa and Eli sitting on the cushion-less couch (because that is how one should sit on the couch - at least they think so) playing with their match box cars. They were so cute playing there with each other. I love watching this bond form between them. My prayer and hope is that they are the best of friends growing up and through out life.
