Church Christmas Dinner

On December 6, we had the Christmas Dinner for the WCF group at church. I took pictures as usual. I tried to get at least one image of each of person that was there and as always I got close-ups of all the kids that were there. Although I know that Grayson doesn't care for his picture taken so I got a shot of him on the sly sitting next to his Grandma. At the end of the post I have placed the two videos of the kids along with Miss Connie singing Christmas Carols. I wish I would have recorded them singing Away in a Manger because Claudia did the signing that Miss Chris has been teaching them for the Christmas program. Enjoy.

Grandpa B's 75th Bday Party

A picture of Eli before Grandpa B. arrived.

Audrianna.

Skylar, yes I know she looks a bit like a serial killer in this image. She thought she was being cool and serious, I find it rather funny though.

Jaime holding her newest niece, Emily. Christopher is also in the picture.

Asa with black olives on his fingers, isn't that how you're supposed to get them to eat them?

A picture of Pastor Sweet and Grandpa W.

Some of the great-granddaughters playing. (Lauren, Bailey, and Audrianna)

Michelle H. and daughter Maddy.

Granny B. helping Eli to walk. Anyday now he will be doing it on his own.

A rare photo of Stacy (she's the other photographer in the family), but here she is holding Emily.

Talking and visiting.

Bailey, I can't get over how grown up she is getting. It wasn't that long ago that I was babysitting for her and she wasn't much bigger than what my boys are now.

Alaina.

Josiah.

Chris and Drew washing the dishes.

I tried to get a picture of Asa giving Grandpa (his Great-Grandpa as a matter of fact) a kiss. This is the best shot that I was able to get. Maybe another day.

Claudia is always good for a smile.

Grandpa's photo board that we put together.

Melissa holding Emily. Melissa really likes the babies and the fact that Emily slept so quietly in her arms was even better.

Chris took this picture of Asa sitting contentedly next to Bailey. They are rather cute sitting there all intrigued with what they are watching.

The day after Thanksgiving

Here are a couple of pictures that I took on Friday, November 28. I thought it was so cute that Aunt Shirley took the time and attempted to play Sorry with the little ones.

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day was a very good day. We had a wonderful time over at Uncle Wayne and Aunt Regina's house. The food was delicious and the company enjoyable. The only problem was that I only took three images that day. Chris had to work so I was feeding both boys and myself. Asa is getting pretty self sufficient at feeding himself but I still have to help occasionally with getting the food onto his fork or spoon. Grandma got a really cute little Thanksgiving plate for Asa to use for his meal, I should pull it out and take a picture of it. I fed Eli most of his food and then I was able to eat my own food. After dinner papa Tony took Eli into the living room and I captured these few images of him and Eli together. Eli took a nap with papa and Asa eventually fell asleep and took a small nap. Chris got out of work a bit after 5pm and joined us for his dinner. We enjoyed our time very much. After leaving Wayne and Regina's house we headed over to my grandpa and granny Bailey's house to wish my mother a Happy Birthday and spend a bit of time with the family over there. A great day of thanksgiving and food and for once I didn't completely stuff myself.

The day before Thanksgiving

We had a nice relaxing day on the day before Thanksgiving. The picnic table from Papa and Grandma Woods has definitely been put to good use. I took pictures of Asa drinking the applesauce out of the container. I am loving having the digital camera to capture these moments and document them right away, relative to the years that it seems to take me to get film developed. I still have like twenty rolls that need developing and two or three of those rolls are of Asa's first six months.

Later in the afternoon Asa and Eli are sharing fruity cheerios. Eli is really getting a hang on this standing thing. He is pulling himself up all the time now and recently he has even started cruising along the furniture.

I love that smile. It is a definite look of sheer delight in doing what he is doing. Couldn't you just hug and kiss him forever?

The boys have discovered the fun of sharing food with Chloe. And as you can see Chloe doesn't mind one bit. She gets super excited when she knows they have food. If you look at the picnic table in the first two pictures there are cheerios spread across the top, in the last picture Chloe has cleaned up that mess.
